All the flair of the 17th century, plus the best writing technology of the 1920s—it’s the romantic, surprisingly practical Feather Quill Writing Set from Bortoletti. The feather is decorative and not part of the writing apparatus, which is much for the better because quills were a messy and imprecise way to write. Instead, this pen features a white bronze pen holder with standard metal nib mount.
A vintage nib is included, along with a wax-sealed 15 mL bottle of Bortoletti Hamburg Calligraphy Ink. This free-flowing, intensely colored ink is perfect for metal and glass nibs. You will receive a random ink color: black, blue, or sepia.
Compatible with standard dip pen nibs (including our large selection of vintage pens).
This set is packaged in a Bortoletti gift box and measures approx. 10″ x 5″ x 1.5″. The pen is approximately 8.25″ long with nib installed.
