The Fire Extinguisher Cocktail Shaker is made from originals acquired at London’s finest art auctions and are the ideal choice for any party. All shakers are made of heavily silver-plated brass and are food safety approved.In 1919, the passing of the 18th Amendment to the US constitution cleared the way for 13 years of Prohibition. While supporters referred to it as the “noble experiment”, those against it actually drank more than ever. To cover up the rough taste of the poor quality alcohol which remained available, bartenders created cocktails with plenty of juices and other sweeteners. A few shakers from the era survived, and Authentic Models has reproduced these in all their beautiful detail. Decorative and fully functional!
